Shipping & Delivery Policy

Every book is personalized and printed on demand, so each order moves through a short preparation and production process before it ships. This policy explains how long that takes, your shipping options, and how delivery works.
Processing & Production Time
After you place an order, our team prepares and reviews your personalized book and you approve a preview. The finalized files are then sent to our print partner for printing and binding. From order to doorstep, the full process — preparation, production, and transit — typically takes 10–16 business days, depending on the shipping option you choose. Rush options may be available at checkout.
Business days are Monday–Friday and exclude weekends and holidays. Delivery estimates begin once your order is placed.
Shipping Options & Rates
Shipping rates and delivery estimates are calculated in real time at checkout based on your destination address. You’ll be able to choose from available service levels — typically Economy, Priority, and Express — each with its own price and estimated delivery window shown before you pay. All shipping charges are in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Where We Ship
We ship both domestically (United States) and internationally. Available shipping methods and costs for your country are shown at checkout based on your address.
Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by the destination country. These are determined by your local authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient. They are not included in our prices or shipping charges. Customs processing may also add time to international deliveries.
Order Tracking
When your order ships, we’ll email you a shipping notification. If a tracking number is available for your selected service, it will be included along with a link to track your package.
Shipping Address Accuracy
Please make sure your shipping address is complete and correct at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delayed or lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address. If a package is returned to us because of an address error, you are responsible for reshipping costs. See our Refunds & Returns Policy for details.
Delays
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Once a package leaves our print partner, it is in the hands of the carrier, and we cannot control carrier or customs delays, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. If your order is significantly delayed, contact us and we’ll help look into it.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your book arrives damaged, or your tracking shows delivered but you can’t locate the package, please contact us within 14 days at kate@kosmickidsbooks.com and we’ll work with you to resolve it. See our Refunds & Returns Policy for replacements and refunds.
